I received an
email the other day that had been forwarded to me with a report about a chip
that the Obama government had legislated should be implanted in everyone
enabling all to receive free medical.
The email
originated from a group of concerned Christians who asked that all Christians
everywhere should pray against this legislation. There concern was that this
was ushering in the much anticipated (and in some ways the much feared) time of
the “666” warned about in Revelations: Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Revelations Chapter 13 begins with the description of the “beast” that rises up out of the sea, and is given power by the “dragon” and the seat of authority (compare this with the visions of Daniel in Dan 7:3-7). In verse 11 another “beast” comes up out of the earth exercising the same power as the first “beast”, compelling all to worship the first “beast” (compare this with Dan 8:3-4). This second “beast” causes all men to receive the mark of the first “beast” (666):
Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
So where does the dragon come from, and who is he? We find the answers to these questions in the preceding chapter, where the dragon appears in heaven to torment the woman who is in labour. The woman gives birth to a man child who is destined to rule all nations with a rod of iron. But before the dragon can grab the child to destroy him, the child is caught up into heaven to sit with God on the throne. The woman escapes to a place in the wilderness where God provides her with protection from the “dragon”, and the “dragon” is defeated in a fight with Michael and his angels and is cast down to earth. Here he is named as being Satan (see Rev 12).
Although we are not told, I believe it is obvious that the “woman” referred to here is the Church, with the baby being Christ, who was born of a virgin, lived a relatively short life on earth before He was crucified on the cross, died, descended into Hell, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand side of God. Satan thought he had killed the Christ, but instead all He did was play into God’s hands and cause the salvation of man.
Now Satan is trying a last effort of taking over power from Christ and God. He is going to try and get all men under his power – not by force but by trickery – and to turn them away from God.
If this is true – and being in God’s word confirms it is true, and if the new Obama legislation refers to the mark of the “beast”, then this news is heralding in the beginning of the rain of Satan through the Antichrist.
This has been prophesised by God in His Word, and nothing that we do will prevent it from happening:
Isa 46:8 Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors.
Isa 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
Isa 46:11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.
ª “God not only claims to reveal the future, He has the
power to bring to pass what He
has foretold!”
So, do you really want to try and put a stop to
it? Why? do you want to delay the return of Christ? There is nothing that you or I can do to prevent what God has
declared from taking place. Instead look at this as a wakeup call to get your
house in order!
