Commemorating Darwin

I was appalled to hear over the radio this morning (9th February 2012) that the "world" would be commemorating Darwin and his theories this weekend, and that the Roman Catholic Church - often inferred as been the authority on the Christian's standpoint and thinking on such matters - gave there stamp of approval on his theories, saying something like they lined up with the Biblical account of Creation?

Now any right-thinking Spirit-filled Christian who has read the account of the Creation will know that these so called theories are base on nonsense, and that there is ample reason and scientific proof giving evidence to the Creation account as outlined in the Word of God.

What the evolutionists also don't realize, is that if it were true that mankind evolved from one species to another in order to adapt to the environmental changes that took place, the why all the concern about "Global Warming"? We can just re-evolve into a form that can with stand the higher temperatures. Or what?
